Training
|
Living in
western Oklahoma sure has alot of advantages. We
have some of the best hunting around. With
several thousand acres leased, we have a lot of ground
to work on. Don't have to stress out the birds
during training. Cover ranges from flat open country
to tree lines . Alot of time and thought has gone in
to our program to help improve our bird population.
The better care you take of the birds through the
winter, the better they will raise in the spring.
Wild birds is the game {not libbies}.
Sometimes
our neighbors shake their heads when they see us out
planting ragweed!!! |

| SUMMER CAMP----
Summer camp is now North Dakota. For cooler
weather, plenty of birds and lots of country. We can work till noon
on most days. Sometimes all day, and do yard work and
road work in the evenings. Birds are abundant there.
Always a good crop to work with. If you plan on
sending a dog north, better hurry and get a spot. They
go fast. Some of our grounds border the Madsen
Ranch where they hold the All America Championship and
the Iron Nation trials. |
